Using KeyValt

Store authenticator (TOTP) codes

Save the setup key from an authenticator QR code and fill 6-digit codes automatically.

  1. When a portal shows a QR code to set up an authenticator app, look for “can’t scan?” to reveal the setup key, or paste the otpauth:// link.
  2. Edit the account in KeyValt and paste the key into the Authenticator field.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code KeyValt shows back into the portal to finish setup.
