Use autofill safely

KeyValt only fills a login when the page’s real address matches one of the websites saved with that account. It never fills hidden fields and won’t submit a form that posts to a different website.

If nothing is filled

• Check that the extension is unlocked (click the toolbar icon).
• Make sure you are on the website saved for the portal. If the portal moved to a new address, edit the portal and add it to allowed websites.
• Some portals load the login form late; click the KeyValt icon and press Fill.
• If you see a “look-alike domain” warning, close the tab — it may be a phishing site.

CAPTCHAs and OTPs

KeyValt never bypasses CAPTCHAs or reads SMS OTPs. On portals with a CAPTCHA, KeyValt fills your details and leaves the final step to you.
