Getting started

Install and connect the browser extension

Install KeyValt for Chrome or Edge and link it to your account securely.

  1. Open the Download page and choose Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click “Add to browser” and confirm. Pin KeyValt to the toolbar for easy access.
  3. Click the KeyValt icon and choose “Connect to KeyValt”. The extension shows a short code.
  4. Approve the connection in the dashboard (the extension can open this page for you): check that the code matches, then click Approve.
  5. Unlock the extension with your master password.

Website permissions

The extension only asks for access to the websites of portals you save. When you launch a portal on a new website for the first time, your browser will ask you to allow it.
